Sky didn't see the point of arguing with her half sister, and she started to walk away.
Tanith stopped her at the door, grabbing Sky's arm and shutting the door. A strange sensation of feeling cold and on fire was flowing through her body. For a moment, she said nothing, but her grasp on her half sister's arm grew tighter and tighter. Sky looked at Tanith straight in the eyes and realized something was wrong. "Tanie, you're hurting me. Let go."
Tanith looked away and took a couple deep breaths before turning back to Sky, her eyes now completely blood red with black, narrow, serpentine pupils. Within a few seconds, they changed back and Tanith turned away again. Tanith mumbled a tiny, "Help me..." as Sky bolted back upstairs.
This, unfortunately, was another reason Tanith tried to stay in the basement. She had lately been having problems containing her inner dragon, causing her to worry about what would happen if she ever were to unwillingly transform outside. That would not only cause her to be in trouble, but also everyone else who lived in Shaun's house. Even though she didn't get along with most of them, she still felt it was important for them all to stay under the radar. She did leave every once in a while, but only while under the influence of drugs since she seemed to believe that was helping. This incident proved her wrong, however, so she knew she'd have to be even more careful now.
OOC: I made a Tanith doll, it's in my handdrawn thread if you wanna check it out. =P
