"Okay! Be right back!" Taka rushed off. She was gone for a little while, but when she returned, she has a dry branch and som striking stones. She dipped half the branch in water so as to discourage flames beyond a point where she'd hold it, then struggled to strike a flame.
When she managed it, it took a minute for her eyes to adjust, then she hoisted the branch aloft and gasped; the cavern was full of emeralds in their raw form.
