Back at the caves, Victor woke up. He went outside and saw that food was being put out for everyone. He took a plate for himself and sat alone to eat.

Remy had gotten up; at first he was worried when Aleta wasn't there, but relaxed after he was told that she'd gone out with Taka to gather herbs.
