Nedakh watched Ulricha, his partner, save another Cat. He admired her strength greatly, though to say he was attracted would be going too far.
Later, however, when the Healers had patched up the cat his friend had saved, Nedakh was quite shocked to learn the cat was a she, not a he; so far as he was aware, women were not accepted into the cat army.
