It turned out that I really love poetry whenever we had to write poems for my English class. Here is a simple free verse poem about death. It's called Darkness.
I shiver in night
I know it's come
I cry out in pain
As It pulls me back
Into utter darkness
Hear the screams
See the torture
You hear the laugh
So evil...
You look for light
But all you see
Is utter darkness
