"Yeah... she sc'rewed everyone up, didn't she? But it's too late now, so... I don't know what to do anymore," she said in a smal voice. She looked suddenly bereft, lonely, and vulnerable; all that anger at Set had bee a coping mechanism, and now it was suddenly gone.
She felt utterly worthless, talentless, and unwanted. Mental instability seemed to run in the family, and at that moment, depression set in to smother Nephthys.
Helena sensed this, but refrained from speaking; what wanted to see if Set noticed. It would speak well of his social improvements if he tried to reach out to her in some way.
