I've been straightening my hair for probably 4 years now.
I'm REALLY bad at protecting my hair from the heat. :3
I used to have a really good heat protectant, but then we had a house fire yada yada yada don't remember what it's called yada yada yada, So I got a new one and it's horrible, all sticky like hairspray that makes my hair stick together and look all smooshed and crispy. Not good.
All it really means though is that I have to get my hair cut a little more often becuase I get really bad split ends after about 6 months.
My hair is naturally really curly and knotty and fluffy and thick. I straighten it all the time.
