I took an American music history course last semester, and we had half a lecture dedicated to rag time and Scott Joplin (moving from there into Tin Pan Alley and George M. Cohan and Cole Porter, etc). I have that song in my iTunes because it came on the CD we had to buy for class. Very cheery stuff.
