Even after several hours there had been no sign of a successful heir. Merlin was a looking a little less pleased, he had realized Arthur was in the crowd rather than lining up. Eventually he stopped the process, telling the crowd that it was getting late and that trials would continue tomorrow. In addition to this he strongly urged all of the young men in Camelot to try for the sword.
