Collette held her breath as the Common Welsh Green gave an irritable snort. It certainly wasn't a pleasant noise, and Collette doubted it was friendly. She looked around and weighed up her options. If she performed a similar spell to Pyotr's she wouldn't score as well, but confusing the creature was certainly the best way to go about things.
The French girl muttered a few words to herself and with a flick of her wand a wall of mist descended on the arena, although it was still possible to make out the silloutte of both Collette and the dragon, it would hopefully slow down the dragon's progress. The dragon gave a roar, obviously making a connection between the strange creatureplaced before it and the sudden blanket of fog.
Not wishing to wait for the fog to clear Collette stumbled backwards, hurrying in the direction she knew the egg could be found in. The dragon's faint shale dissappeared for a few moments as it began to search for the intruder. It stopped a few meters away from Collette, and she could make out the shape of a head looking around. With a quiet wave of her wand the girl summoned voices from the other side of the arena. The dragon's head snapped backwards and it turned to go an seek out the creator of the mysterious noises.
Collette gave a sigh of relief and continued to edge towards the egg.
