"I'm not sharing with anyone," Diego muttered. "Bad things happen to people I share with."
He didn't mean that in a particularly nasty way; it just happened to be the truth. Since Diego had only a marginal control of his powers, he sometimes released them while dreaming. This was not pleasant for anyone who roomed with him and had caused several upsets in the past.
