I took BC for about two years. Then I stopped because I stopped having intercourse for religious reasons (and so I thought what's the point in taking it. . .)
After I stopped it took 45 days until I got my period again. (before I started taking it, my cycle was 26 days) Then when I did get it, I had the worst cramps I EVER had in my life. After a few months of irregularity, my cycle came back to normal.
