That's a load of rubbish. Sounds like propaganda to me; I know a lot of people who've done drugs in their time, including one guy who used to be a "flower power" hippie, and none of them are addicts or dead. Your teacher is obviously using scare stories to try and dissuade you and your friends from taking drugs; to my mind, that's a terrible idea. Far better to arm you with the facts rather than tell horror stories.
