Even if their death means that others have the chance of life? If someone you knew was murdered, you might change your viewpoint; especially if said murderer had already been convicted of murder once. In that case, if they had been executed, their recent victim would still be alive. It's also a fact that some people are incorrigably evil and there is nothing anyone can do to cure them of this. I suggest you read up on Carl Panzram for proof of this.
