Let's say that you download ten bought songs from Itunes. I'm pretty sure you have to be registered to use it. Anyway, they can track what you use and download. Imagine the surprise when you've only bought ten songs, but have well over a hundred others that you never paid for. There's a lot of lawsuits over similar things.
