Rosa Parks wasn't the first to sit on a bus and refuse to give up her seat. There were a good three before her. But Rosa Parks was the one to do so and get a response, resulting in the bus boycot. She was one of the leaders of the Civil Right for Black Americans. In fact, in my reference photo, Martin Luther King Jr. is just behind her.
I chose to do her because she;s one of my favorite influencial women who changed history for the better.
