Pepperoni Rolls
This is basically a pizza rolled up without sauce.
Ingredients:
- Dough (can be homemade or that stuff in a can that you crack open and let rise, or you can use pancake mix. However, "pancake pepperoni rolls" end up VERY crumbly so I don't advise using it unless you're desperate. >_>)
- Cheese (mozzerella preferably)
- Pepperoni (get it fresh from a deli, otherwise it will be VERY greasy.)
- Flour (used to form the roll)
- Pizza Sauce (if possible get a generic store brand and make sure it is NOT chunky. Chunky tastes horrible with pepperoni rolls.)
- Take a handful of dough from whatever it was rising in.
- Roll out in flour until squoval or rectangular shaped.
- (optional step) Sprinkle grated cheese in a layer on the dough an inch or so from the edges.
- Layer pepperoni on top of cheese; if you didn't use cheese, just layer the pepperoni on the dough again an inch or two from the edges.
- CAREFULLY roll the dough toward you in two-three inch increments. Pinch the ends shut with a little bit of water and flour. If it opens during baking, that's fine.
- Repeat if you have enough ingredients. Two tubes of dough can make two or three large (VERY large) pepperoni rolls.
- Put rolls in oven on 350 degress Farenheight (162 degrees Celcius? Correct me if wrong) for 20-25 minutes.
- (optional step) For sauce, pour into small bowl for dipping and add whatever you want. Spices, garlic, parmesan, your call, buddy. You can even use salsa if you want!
- Take rolls out of oven when done and allow to cool. Cut into segments of 1-2 inches. Enjoy with cold beverage. =)
Far, far beyond the island, we dwelt in shades of twilight, through dread and weary days, through grief and endless pain. It lies unknown, the land of mine! A hidden gate to save us from the shadow fall. The lord of water spoke in the silence words of wisdom. I've seen the end of all: Be aware, the storm gets closer.
