This is my third doll thread now. xD My other was getting a bit long, so if a mod can close it, that'd be great, thanks. ^^
General rules apply to my dolls. No frankendolling, do not use without my consent, don't claim as your own, etc. You all know the drill. Some of my dolls may be copyrighted, others may not, so I wouldn't risk stealing any. I work hard on these; usually between 2 or 3 hours. Of course, I also multi-task, so it's probably only about 1-2 hours of straight work, sometimes more.
My most recent dolls (if you haven't been following my old thread,) can be found on my dA, Orange-Bubbles on deviantART
Here is my newest, and previously unposted, doll:
Base by TheHWord on deviantART
. She is SO amazing. O_O
This is my character in Vampire Clan (one of the two), named Carmella. She is not a vampire right now, but human. She's just naturally pale. xD Her favourite colour is light green
, as you can see. Carmella is very anti-social, but not exactly book smart, so she couldn't be labelled as a "nerd", really. Everyone in her family has poor eyesight, and thus Carmella wears glasses. Those were annoying to doll. It would have been easier on Photoshop, 'cuz I could have made the lenses semi-transparent, but alas I only use MS Paint. Other then semi-transparency problems, it's done me pretty well. Carmella doesn't necessarily like spots or anything, but I had to give her a pattern on her undies to make it look less plain, and spots worked perfectly. Then I needed a background and to make it work with the spots, I decided more spots! ^^ I decided to keep the shading very simple and soft so it didn't contrast the base too much.
I keep meaning to pixel something less casual, but my uncreative mind has problems with that. Besides, Carmella's a very casual girl (she lives in a townhouse and works at a pizza place, not exactly high class... xD) so making her look all dressed up would have not portrayed her character as much as just her lounging around in a t-shirt and underwear. Anything more would have been hard on the half-base, too.
Anyways, CC is allowed.
