I agree with Kitty. This doll could be relly nice, with some shading. thedollery.net has a few nice black pallettes in her site. Jut click on "goodies", then "pallettes", and look under the "hair" section. ^^

As for the pink tips, just filling in the tips of the hair and using a softening/blur tool is a big no. What you should do is shade the black hair without the pink tips, then reshade the tips of the hair pink.

But what about getting it to blend? The simplest way that an MS Painter could do would be to reshade using a dark mauvy or maroon red inbetween the pink and the black, but be sure to only have a very small amount of this pallette color, as it's meant to make the blend.

There is another toolshading method, but it's complicated and three times more annoying, and I think one should learn how to do certain things just using the good ol' paint brush before they whip out fancier tools. XD
