Obviously whenever you cut yourself it is going to hurt. It isn't excruciating pain though, more like a paper cut. I would get your mother to help you if you do not feel confident enough to do it yourself. I wouldn't recommend waxing at your age though, I have never done it and I am 14. I would stick with the easy stuff first until you get older at least.
