Boil all household brushses, combs, etc. in Lysol. Take down ALL fabrics and spray with lice killer designed for fabrics. Wash all clothes in very hot water. Don't forget cars! They will have eggs, too! Pontytail holders, clips... deal with those.
Use either specially bought products for killing the lice in your hair or something else proven to work. Be sure to comb out all nits (eggs).
Bag stuffed animals or toys with hair in a plastic bag with the air squeezed our for two weeks.
After you've shampooed your hair and combed out nits, sleep somewhere else to let the spray do its job on the egs and lingering bugs. Later, vacuum carpets, matresses, and counches/easy chairs.
That's all I know. XD I had it once as a kid, and it spread, so mom had to deal with it. I remember that much.
