You could just pick another doll...
I highly recommend showing the old doll with it to make it easier for me to judge. [The biggest thing is that it is a remake, and not a whole new doll. Meaning it should have some things that the other doll has and it is easy to tell it's a remake. Without the old doll, there's a chance it doesn't look a thing like it.]
