Kaori stood apart from her own team mates. She didn't even want to have to work in a team, but the rules were plain; all ninjas competing had to complete the second part of the exam in teams and that was final. She looked with some contempt at the Leaf village ninjas who stood close to her. Kaori hoped she'd get a chance to knock some of the smirks off their faces.
