To me, the colours just don't look blended if the palettes are like that. I have a weird thing about wanting it to look blended. The dithering on the boots so far look good though so maybe I've found a style I might use occassionally for these things... The hair I'm not nearly as worried about since I was doing dithering on it in the first place.
