By the time the credits came, Tina's mom was fast asleep. Then, a loud crack of thunder ensued, followed by the loss of electricity. But, funny enough, her mom did not awaken. Tina looked to the basement door. Now's my chance! She ran into the kitchen ,grabbing her mom's spare keyring from under the fridge (which her mom din't know she knew it was there), and head into the basement with a flashlight.
It was dark, damp, and cobwebs were everywhere. Tina was glad she was not afraid of the little beasts, or this would be her personal hell. She continued down the half rotten stairs, treading lightly. In ths basement, there were many boxes filled with odd trinkets her mother had collected over the years. The newer stuff was towards the front. Tina skipped that stuff, heading straight for the back. There, an odd, long box caught her eye. She lifted it. "God, this is heavy!" She exclaimed, heaving it onto the table with one missing leg, now supported by other boxes.
Tina tried a million keys to try to unlock the case, but none of them fit. She searched the area where she found the box, then found and ol, rusty key hidden inside a cobweb and simply covered in dust. This had to be it, the key to the mystery box.
