Across Pura Island, home of the Healers and where all spirits rest, there has been chaos.
The Spirit Stones, priceless jewels that hold the Spirits, memories and thoughts of the dead, have been stolen. Entire beaches of silver sands emptied of their glittering gems.

And the Healers are dying. Within them, the light is fading, the gift waning into nothingness.

Without the Healer’s, there is widespread illness and suffering…

But the story does not start that way.
It starts in a old town on Faith Island, called Bayville. Legends say this place is cursed, with a blood price tithe every 100 years.
And the shadows do move in strange ways… But no price was ever paid.

Deirdre Greene was… currently asleep in someone else bed.
Blame the party her sister threw for their birthday. Seriously. She shouldn’t have drunk that much, and yet…
She got p*ssed. And laid. Go her.

Right now, her aquamarine green eyes were closed, her glossy black, waist-length hair strewn across the pillow.

I think she’s dreaming about sugary foods.
