Tabitha is well into her first year of high school. So far she is doing pretty well, but it’s still pretty intimidating. High school was so exciting when she was in junior high. She and her best friend planned together what classes they would take and what activities they would do. Tabitha knew that high school was going to be great.
When she got there, it wasn’t everything she’d planned. Her best friend was only in one class with her, and they had different lunches. She doesn’t have time for more than one or two clubs, and there is more homework than she anticipated. But most of that’s okay. Tabitha has realized that taking on more responsibilities and learning to adapt is just part of growing up.
