| Mitarashi Anko - Apprentice of Orochimaru | Anko was a very powerful child and earned the attention and favor or Orochimaru. She trained under him for some time and became his apprentice. While she was working with him, Anko learned a great deal of jutsu including some moves which are forbidden. He also gave her a cursed seal, much like Sasuke.
Anko was furious when Orochimaru fled the village after betraying Konoha. She felt used and hated that she had been cast aside as if she were worthless. When Orochimaru reappeared in the village, Anko felt it was her personal duty to kill him or die trying. She was unable to kill him, but did not die herself. For this she seems to be uncomfortable despite her role as an instructor.
