Marilyn Monroe was a beautiful woman with a tremendous amount of talent. She starred in many major movies during the fifties and was an ideal for glamorized feminine beauty. Her blonde hair and flirty manner were copied by many young girls and women and the world was shocked when we lost her.
Marilyn died of a sleeping pill overdose in her home. She was found in her bed holding the telephone by her housekeeper. The coroner said it was most likely a suicide, but others felt it might have been murder. There have been investigations into the death more recently, but nothing new has been uncovered other than the fact that the first investigation was held improperly. Perhaps the world will never know what caused us to lose this blonde bombshell.
