There is a little Naruto in all of us. For those not familiar with the manga or anime series, Naruto Uzumaki is a teenager who just happens to be rather loud and obnoxious. Oh, and he's also a ninja out to save the world and get a little bit more recognition for his good deeds. Even if you are not a boy, a ninja, or hyper, I firmly believe there is a bit of Naruto hiding inside you.

Raw Energy

Your teachers and parents may be polite and say that you are, "full of energy." This is a nice way of saying you are hyper and have the ability to drive the people around you nuts. I only say that because I have a small case of it myself. All of us have been known to go a little wild every now and again, but those that live in this state almost every waking hour are already channeling Naruto.

Your raw energy level is dependent on a lot of things including your food choices, your amount of rest and who the best looking boy in your class is at the moment. While hot boys may not make our teenage ninja hero wired, they can certainly do it to you – and you know that's true.

Loud

If you don't think teenage girls are loud, try sitting through a concert or a school dance next to some. Of course, you were probably in the group sitting next to me last time I almost had an eardrum burst from the loud shrieking and screaming, but the concert was totally worth it. It only makes sense that the energy you have should come out in all kinds of ways, including your volume level. Be loud, have fun, and maybe you'll get your own television show someday – it worked for Oprah and Naruto and it might just work for you, too.

In Search of Approval

This is an area where we all are a little like Naruto whether we want to be or not. He is constantly seeking out approval and recognition for his deeds, and as much as we might like to pretend we don't care what others think, we do. It feels nice when we get a compliment from a friend or a teacher. You work hard on a chore or a project and when your mom says how great it looks or tells you how lucky she is to have you as a daughter you light up – even if it's just on the inside.

The message to take away from this constant search for approval is not that you are a horrible needy person seeking attention constantly (at least I hope you're not), but rather that you are perfectly normal. We like to be praised when we do something well, and digging a little for a compliment is natural. Just remember there is a big difference between proudly, yet casually, throwing your report card on the table during dinner and obnoxiously bragging loudly to anyone who'll listen about how much smarter you are than they are.

Never_more, if you read any of the interviews with Kishimoto, you would read that he wanted it to be different, to stray away from the stereotype. And Magic Tree House books? Psh, alot of that stuff is wrong. Anyways, Naruto is one of the only awesome Anime shows that are butchered in America but you still HAVE to watch the marathons and new episodes even when youve already seen them in Japanese countless times! Kishimoto is awesome!

I think subtitle is almost always better than dub version. At first I enjoy Naruto, but typical anything that reaches past a 100 episodes loses my attention quit, because I don't want to keep up with it. I loved inuyasha, but than it hit past 100, and got repetitive. Anyway I really enjoy the article's look at Naruto.

HATE IT!!!!!!!! What kind of ninja wears neon orange and shouts practically every word? It is a total mockery of the true ninjas who only fought to protect their towns from the war lords that were taking control of japan!!!!!!!! anyone who's ever read the magic tree house book about ninjas would know that! seriously!!!!!!!! and the truth is it is totally different from the Japanese version, in the form of editing out half f it.

~*~ I like the Naruto series very much, as well as the character it is named after. Anime is something I adore, and for those that are wasting energy to post a comment telling people how much they dislike it, or saying it's overrated, well, that's both wasteful and rather negative.

I personally believe that the American versions of some animes are completely butchered when comparing it to the Japanese versions and the manga. Keep in mind the American version of Naruto is on Cartoon Network and that station needs to be very kid-friendly, so yes, it will be really, really, lame. However, there is this wonderful site- narutofan.com -that gives the public access to the Naruto manga(which is really, really, amazing in my opinion).~*~

The only "anime" I even looked at is Hayao Miyazaki's stuff and that's not really anime. I adore manga, but nothing that's read left to right or is a hit anime show in America. Heh.

Oh, and breathing's not overrated.
