  Summer Trends (Doll Article)

So, It's summertime and you're looking to buy some summer clothes. What to buy, What NOT to buy. Here are some trends in summer clothing I've been seeing that are really popular and stuff that is WAY out.
This summer seems to be sort of a polished rocker look that's crazy, yet classy and put together. An example of this is wearing a band T-Shirt or any kind of crazy shirt with plaid bermuda shorts. I know some of you might be thinking, Bermudas?! Are you out of your mind?! No, I'm not. Short shorts are definitely on the way out. Sure, some people might still wear them, but where I live, I'm seeing more and more girls wearing bermudas. Besides, They're more comfortable and you're actually able to sit down in them. Another summer trend i'm noticing that's bigger this year than ever before are babydoll tops. Another cute idea, if you like girlier stuff is to find a cute, shorter sundress, possibly a tube top one, that you layer leggings underneath with ballet flats. Finally, a trend that can be on anything, PATTERNS. Heart patterns, star patterns, even lightning bolt patterns are turning up on everything! Don't be afraid to mix it up with crazy patterns. Maybe find one that noone else has!

I hope you all have a great summer, and don't forget that if you see any more trends to contact me via DollPalace email and i'll make a Summer Trends Part Two!!

Ok so you know what, I'd like to thank nikki_radcliff A LOT for backing me up

Also, I'm not trying to impose my views on anyone, saying that you HAVE to wear the things I wrote about. You should wear what you want. I'm just saying that this is what I've been seeing a lot. And yes, I live in the northwest so if you're from a hotter state then most of this may not apply to you. I didn't think about the hotter states, and I apologize for that. But all of you people who are critizising me, It's JUST A STUPID ARTICLE. It's not mind control. It's just my take on things. And if you happen to have a different view, you can post it without being crass and rude.

And for you fashion "Know-It-All"s, there ARE band tees that aren't busy, like nikki_radcliff said. There's actually a really good Black Flag one at Hot Topic that looks good with bermudas.

Personally, I don't worry about it.

The way I see it is, there's children in the Sudanthat are being shot at everyday, and they have no clothes at all. Why not donate some to a good cause?

So why is everyone arguing about SHORTS of all things? Me personally, I like shorter shorts. But I also like stuff like capris. Bermuda shorts are not for me - but that's a personal style issue. (I have dancer's legs & want to show them off) Style is not a universal concept - just BE YOURSELF! Some people can do the band tee & bermuda shorts look & look amazing. Some people do shorter shorts and baby doll tees, and look amazing. And then some people do the whole goth thing and look amazing. The list goes on and on. Just be yourself & wear what you like - there's no law against it.
