Dress Up Pets
Many girls call their pets fur babies. I myself have pets and I love them enough to let them sleep in my bed and clean up any accidents I may step in during the night, but I'm not sure they are my babies. These "fur babies" of the world are treated a great deal like regular babies, and I for one am beginning to think it's getting a bit out of hand.

Posh Pups

I swear there are dogs out there that are better dressed than their owners.
Dress Up Pets
The pooches might be wearing collars worth more than my entire jewelry collection and have more outfits than the average teenage girl. These pups have manicures, hair/fur appointments and travel in style.

Designers are catching on to the spoiled doggy trend and creating clothing for pups and producing designer bags so that your fur baby can ride with you in Prada or Gucci style. These animals eat specially prepared meals and frequent restaurants and coffee shops with their owners. Is all of this going too far?

People are Animals, Too

If pets are treated better than the humans in the relationship, does that make the doggies superior? After all, many of us can't afford to get fully groomed every week with new polish on our toes and a great new hairstyle. We don't get designer duds and we sure don't get carried around and fed delicious foods for every meal. (Think lunch in the cafeteria.) I for one will probably never have a new hair accessory, bow or otherwise, every week.

If I wear the same clothes week after week and deal with bad hair days, shouldn't my dog live a normal life, too? Sure I love a little pampering now and again, but if I lived in the lap of luxury all the time, I would never know when I was actually being pampered! Living like a normal person or normal pet isn't a bad thing Ė it just makes the good times that much better.

Dress Up Pets

Living the Good Life

The good life to a dog is pretty simple. Dogs like to lie around a lot, run around outside, bark at birds and other wildlife, and occasionally chew on a special treat like a bone or your favorite pair of flip-flops. All of this is difficult to achieve from inside a designer tote bag while wearing a stylish pink rain coat and hat.

Dress Up Pets
You don't have to spoil your doggie to make them love you. If you make sure your doggie has what he needs, you are already treating him better than most of the pets in the world. Quality food, some water, a nice bed to sleep in and a few little doggie toys can keep your pooch happy while you are away and simply being with you in a room and the occasional pat or scratch behind the ears when you are home can practically put your fur baby in paradise.

Just love them the way a doggie wants to be loved, and they will adore you enough to slobber on your hands and jump up on you when you walk through the door everyday. What else can a pet owner ask for?

If it's cold weather & they don't have alot of fur,I understand dressing them up.If it's hot weather, that's when I don't think it's right to do so.

If I had a dog,I'd dress it depending on the weather.Other than that,I'd rather give my love & attention to it when I have the time ,rather than pampering it.If you're going to pamper a pet,let the pet run around with them special clothes and maybe starting from a collar to clothes will let them enjoy their gifts a bit more, they'd probably appreciate ya for it

About the dressing up pets thing... Some animals NEED to where clothes when it gets cold and their fur isn't enough. But putting them into a huge costume to show of to your friends: not cool!

I love my Fatness! (Fatness is my cat)

i love my dog an everything and on occasion if she isn't stubborn I might dress her up in a little hat for Halloween. But other than that it's rediculous. I have seen it all. There is even a pet shop in my local mall called Pawpoochies and they sell gourmet dog treats and food, bags, even carriges! It's really ridiculous. I feel bad for the dogs!

Fourth to say i signed but fifth overall.

I think its sad to dress up dogs because they can't tell you that there getting over heated or anything.

My family have 2 dogs. One of them sleeps upstairs in my bed and the other sleeps down stairs because it is not fit enough to get up. I pet them ona regualr basis and give them the love and care they need.

Third to sign!! I might be getting a Cavalier King charles Spaniel over the summer...I have another pet right now (Golden Retriever) so I wouldn't pamper my pets too much, but I believe all pets deserve a little extra love every now and then

second to sign!

I'm a fur baby kitty, I don't dress up my cat and get her jewelry collar and all that. I just give her my love(pet her), she sleep in my bed and clean up her litter box.

It's silly to dress up pets
