If you are between 14 and 16, do you feel that your parents are way to protective. Do they ban you from chat rooms and myspace, while everyone else has one. Do you feel like they don't trust you! If you do then add a comment or dollmail me at Singergirl509!

I totally know how you feel. My mom won't let me on myspace, or to chat rooms or anything. If she knew I was posting replies to articles, I don't think I would be allowed to do that. I suppose she knows best, though.

y'all's parents have a right to set whatever rules and standards they want as long as you're under their roof, and as long they're providing for you you really dont have a right to complain

See, if I had a myspace, my dad would know all of my passwords, could check it whenever he wanted and my sister, her bf, and her best friend would all be able to check up on me. I mean and I'm also thinking about breaking up with my bf and seriously I am so effin stressed that I could actually scream...UGHHHHHHHHH

My parents are way, way,WAY over protective and in a way it is helpful but you don't have to be overprotective to be protective. We need freedom but yes.. we do need guidence. with myspace..its like my 22 year sister says."The kids you hear about on TV are the kids that post sexual pictures, sexual comments..." and they pretty much have it coming at them. As long as parents watch their children, pay attention to where they are at and all that other crap, we will normally be ok. there is a line between parents and overprotective parents.

My cousins have a myspace and I don't, and normally when we take pictures they say"I am so totally putting this on my myspace page" and I just walk out of the room not wanting to get all upset. When my aunts heard about this they were like "She shouldn't do this...Its too dangerous..and..No! This is wrong" and then they went on about all this Godly crap(No offense to christins but I'm wiccan) so it gets really annoying after awhile and IT JUST SUCKS!!

Well, I was raised to obey and now that I am going to church, it is even more important, and the worst word I will say is...um...shut up?? I am pretty good, and it is just who I am. Some people are naturally...rebellious, I guess?

My parents are extrememly protective but that doesn't mean that I can't go behind their backs and do stuff. I am a bad girl. I cuss, I have a myspace, and I've had like 1,000 boyfriends. So there to over protective parents!

My parents don't let me go unsupervised either. It is just something we have to deal with. If there is a responsible adult going as well, I can go, but they won't give me money, and they don't let me go if there are boys they don't know. They wouldn't trust me to go to the movies, in case I see an R movie, or even a PG-13. Yes, I cannot watch PG-13 movies, unless my parents have seen it and they find it suitable. I have never seen a PG-13 movie in theatres for that reason.

Maybe they are exaggerating what they did. And I doubt you will never leave your parents. Seriously, not even my parents will do that.

Okay, why won't my rant stop?!?
