Are you a girly-girl or do you prefer to do things your own way – fashion be darned? Your look doesn’t always tell the whole story, not does your behavior. In your heart of hearts – are you a princess
or a bit punk
?When you get home and see Mom baking cookies. You:
A. Sit down to wait on her to finish cooking and cleaning up. Obviously she’s making this yummy treat for you.
B. Head up to your room. Your mom’s not winning you over with some lame chocolate chips.
C. Throw your books on the table and turn up the music. You don’t need to talk to your mom; she’ll bring you some cookies in a minute anyway.
You’re in the mall and see an outfit you must have, but don’t have the funds. You:
A. Charge it on the emergency credit card. Obviously this is a fashion emergency. You’re mom will understand when she gets the bill.
B. Steal it. This stuff costs so much you’ve already paid for a little bonus with the last outfit you bought.
C. Put it on hold so nobody else can get it and call mom to meet you here so she can pay.
At dinner, Dad asks you about your day. You:Mostly As? Princess Peach!
A. Tell him about cheerleading practice and how you’re thinking of joining the (insert name here) club.
B. Roll your eyes and tell him it was “totally boring.”
C. Ignore him, but later show him the permission slip you need signed with money for the art field trip next week.
You’re a peach of girl with your classy looks and model behavior. Be careful not to start expecting star treatment all the time. You could help your mom bake and clean rather than wait to be served. Or you can do some extra chores to pay for your “fashion emergencies.” The real princesses are models of excellent behavior – not just excellent style.Mostly Bs? Punk!
Stealing? Rude behavior? You ought to be ashamed! Even if it makes you feel good or you think its justified, stealing is illegal and being rude is never okay. You don’t have to be perfect or even change who you are, but a little politeness never hurt anyone.Mostly Cs? You’re a Punk Princess!
You must really have it made if this lifestyle works for you. Not only do you get to be grumpy and even rude, you still get to act and be treated like a princess. Try giving something back from time to time to keep things balanced. For example, treat Mom like a princess for a day or sit down to have a real conversation with Dad.A Big Mix? You’re Perfect!
Or at least close enough. Nobody is really perfect of course, but it’s good to be a mix of things. You might look like a princess, but have a bit of a wild side that keeps friends guessing. As long as you’re reasonably polite and not doing anything illegal, go ahead. Life at this age is about living and learning, so keep doing both!
