Trains are a toy staple. There are train coloring pages and model trains
for children, and the train sets are so popular that many adults still
enjoy putting one together. Many families have trains that circle the
Christmas tree every year and some true train enthusiasts have entire sets
that stay set up around the year. Trains are also popular in stories.
Everyone knows the story of the little engine that could. The engine must
pull the train over the mountain, and does so by telling himself, "I think
I can, I think I can." Thomas the Tank Engine has made trains extremely
popular toys and in cartoons as well in recent years.
