Thinking back to your earliest days of school, one of the first things you
learned were your ABC's. The alphabet is the foundation for almost
everything else we see or do in school. Reading, writing and even math use
the letters of the alphabet, so the first step to any kind of learning is
knowing these important building blocks. Of course, your ABC's may have a
job to do, but they aren't always boring. There are plenty of pictures,
words, alphabet coloring pages, books, and games that use the ABC's, and
people of all ages have been known to secretly enjoy singing the alphabet
songs we all know and love.
