Mermaids are beautiful creatures of the sea. They have a woman's head and
body with the tail of a fish. Mermaid coloring pages often show long
flowing hair, beautiful faces and occasionally enchanting voices. These
mermaids are shown two ways in stories. Sometimes they are good and
romantic creatures, helping others at sea and frolicking in the water. In
other stories, they are a bit trickier and like to lure unsuspecting
sailors into the water or be a little bit mean to those sailing on their
seas.
